Assistant Merchandising Manager – Sweater

Key Accountabilities:
-Oversee product development from yarn sourcing , proto sample follow up
-Act as liaison between the brands and suppliers
-Negotiate prices,delivery dates and capacity planning
-Liase with QA department for product quality control
-Ensure on-time delivery
-Maintain smooth working relationship with customers, suppliers and factories

Knowledge/Skills required :
-At least 8 solid experience in handling sweater items, prefer cover men’s, women’s and kids sweater
-Experience in US market is preferable
-Solid experience in product development and bulk production
-Detail-minded, able to work indpendently and under tight schedule
-Leadership, communication and problem solving skills
-Proficiency in both spoken and writtern English and Mandarin

Senior Merchandiser – Knit
Duties
– To follow up orders from development to production
– To co-operate with vendors, customers and internal parties
– To assist the process of product development and ensure all products meet customers’ expectation
– To maintain good relationships with vendors

Requirements
– College or above, preferably major in Textile and Clothing
– At least 5 years experience in knit garment, US Market will be an advantage
– Good knowledge in product development
– Able to work independently and under tight schedule
– Proficiency in both spoken and written English
– Good computer skill

Senior Pattern Maker
Requirements
-Over 5 years working experience in computer aided pattern making for woven & knit wears.
-Familiar with Gerber & Optitex.
-Strong pattern , grading & layout planning knowledge.
-Team leader experience.
-Hardworking and responsible.

Assistant Quality Manager
Responsibilities:
-Lead the field auditor team to carry out daily PP meeting, in-line, final audit as well as regular training job.
-Coordinating production schedules to ensure that final audits are caring out effectively.

Requirements:
-At least 10 years solid QA experience in garment field including at least 3 years at managerial level.
-Extensive experience in leading a QA Team to handle final audit in factories.
-Experienced in handling woven / knit / sweater / swimsuit / underwear / functional jacket / accessary etc.
-Working experience in trading company and factory is preferred.
-Extensive experience with training, quality manual and standard.
-Sound quality judgment and decision making.
-Be familiar with garment manufacturing testing requirement & standard for USA markets.
-Good command of written and spoken English and able to communicate with overseas buyer;
-Strong customer concept;
-Good computer knowledge.
-Candidates with less experience will be considered as Quality Supervisor.
